Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional Therapy is recognized as a complementary medicine and is an evidence-based approach in promoting and maximizing one's health, using nutrition and related health science.
The key focus of Nutritional Therapy is to achieve a greater state of health by balancing and sustaining the functions, structure and energy processes of the whole body, using nutritional and lifestyle intervention which are specific to each individual's needs.
Food can be seen as information, and it can either nourish us or deplete us of energy. In today's highly profitable food and health industry it is very confusing to understand what is actually good for us. We want to choose what is really right for us, that provides us with the nutrients that we individually need and that enhance our body's ability to self heal, rejuvenate and give us vibrant energy.
As a registered Nutritional Therapist I use a Functional Medicine approach, to assess and identify potential nutritional, functional, structural and emotional imbalances, considering the full history of the person to understand how these imbalances may contribute to their health issues.
My aim is to work closely with each client to understand the root and underlying causes of an illness or symptom and support them towards restoring and maintaining health and vitality.

How does a consultation work?
-
Once your appointment is booked, you will receive an email containing a questionnaire and a 3 day Food Diary which will need to be completed and sent back to me prior your Initial Consultation, including a list of medications currently taken
-
The Initial Consultation (up 1h30) will involve taking a full case history and discussion of main symptoms, health goals, health history, diet and relationship with food as well as body systems such as digestive, endocrine, nervous system and so on. Stress , mood, sleep, emotions and much more are also covered. The first consultation can also include an additional Kinesiology muscle test session (only in person) which is highly beneficial in further investigating the root cause of the imbalance.
-
Following the initial assessment you will be provided with a detailed and personalized Nutritional Plan which will include dietary recommendation, meal suggestion, supplements and life style recommendation. If necessary I will also provide a letter to your GP if further tests are necessary. This will be sent to you via email within 72hrs. A phone call can be scheduled if further clarifications are needed.
-
Further functional tests from private lab may be suggested, such as comprehensive stool analysis, hormone profile and specific nutritional status tests. Those can be very useful to further evaluate what is happening in the body. This will be at an extra costs and are optional. Some of the lab I use are Genova Diagnostics, Invivo UK, Biolab, Regenerus, MyDNAhealth and CNS.
-
Follow up consultation is recommended 4 weeks after the initial consultation and will be booked during your initial consultation. Lasting up to 1h. Progression will be monitored, test results will be evaluated and the plan will be revised as needed. Further follow-ups may be required depending on each individual situation.
The payment for consultations are required at least 24 hours in advance (via bank transfer).
Systematic Kinesiology
Systematic Kinesiology is natural health care practice which uses muscle testing to read the energetic bio feedback system of our bodies to find where imbalances, energy drains and health issues originate from and what particular stresses are affecting you.
Those imbalances, which could either be structural, bio-chemical, energetic or emotional are then corrected using lymphatic massage, nutrition, electrical balancing and emotional work.
Systematic Kinesiology was originally discovered by Dr. Georde Goodheart in 1964, an eminent Chiropractor in the Unites States, who blended the ancient knowledge of acupuncture and eastern medicine. It enables one to address the whole person helping in investigating and pinpointing the key cause of a distress. These distressed can often be related to poor gut health, food sensitivity, nutritional insufficiency, infections (virus, bacteria, yeast and fungi), heavy metals or toxic load as well as emotional or energetic blockages.
Although it is very effective in addressing current health problems, the best time to have a Kinesiology session is when you are feeling "well" due to its ability to detect sub-clinical issues and imbalances before symptoms manifest. It is therefore a very empowering preventative tool.
How does a treatment work?
The treatments are offered alongside a Nutrition Consultation and include gentle physical corrections of muscle (with a gentle massage or light touch of specific neuro-lympathic and neuro-vascular points, and meridian flushing) which are done with the person lying on a couch or standing.
Test Kits are used and specific food and supplement can be tested to evaluate possible sensitivities and nutritional needs.
Recommendation for foods and supplements, as well as techniques to relieve emotional and energetic imbalances are also included.
Reiki and Seichem
Reiki is a spiritual healing energy practice developed in Japan by Dr. Mikoa Usui (1865 – 1926).
It’s a safe, gentle, non-invasive technique performed with the hands. It is not linked with any religion, can benefit anyone on the physical, mental and emotional level and works very well alongside conventional medicine.
Reiki’s energy is channeled through the hands of the practitioner and works by balancing and harmonizing all aspect of a person.
The deep sense of relaxation reinforces the body’s natural ability to heal itself by increasing resilience and our ability to respond to life in a healthier way.
Seichem energy connects with our higher selves and stimulate personal development and growth.
Studies have shown that Reiki has an effect on the parasympathetic nervous system (the “rest and digest” system) and research data demonstrated a positive effect on relaxation, pain management, blood pressure, anxiety, depression, surgical recovery, enhance self-esteem, intuition and well-being.
The best way to understand how Reiki works is by experiencing it!
How does a treatment work?
A Reiki treatment will last approximately 1 hour, and it is performed with the person fully clothed, lying on a couch or sitting on a chair. Hands will be placed on or near specific area of the body. The experience is very personal and promotes deep states of relaxation and peace.
The wonderful thing about Reiki is that it always work for your highest good, helps restore balance so you feel better and your system can undergo profound self healing.
Clients typically report improvement during their first Reiki treatment, although more sessions may be needed to stabilize and strengthen that improvement.
